These items are obtainable in both a quest?? and from higher level loot.
Process of item creation #
When the items are first double clicked they run a check to see if they were awarded on a quest, if they were the item will assign itself to that of the race quest. If not they will be calculated at random to be one of the below:
- Dwarf = a Dwarven
- Elf = an Elven
- Dark-Elf = a Dark-Elven
- Human = a Human
- Barbarian = a Barbarian
- Goblin = a Goblin
- Vampire = a Vampiric
- Demon = a Demonic
Then the chance of control is calculated
- Classed user’s prime stat (see below) is divided by 2.8 and added to control chance
- Note: Prime stat for the different classes is as follows
- Bard: Intelligence + Dexterity / 2
- Crafter: Strength
- Mage: Intelligence
- Ranger: Dexterity
- Thief: Dexterity
- Warrior: Strength
- Classed user’s class level is multiplied by 10
- Example: Level 4 Mage with 130 Intelligence = (130/2.8) + (4*10) = 86% chance for control and added to control chance
- For a PP Used for PP artifacts… Control chance = Total skills / 40
- Example: PP with 3640 total skill points = 3640 / 40 = 91% chance for control
Using Item #
When using the item you will be able to choose a power to invoke, the power will be one of the following:
- Necro Attunement +5
- Earth Attunement +5
- Fire Attunement +5
- Water Attunement +5
- Air Attunement +5
- Spell Power +10%
- Healing Power +5
- Spell Reflection +5
- Physical Protection +5
- Strength +25
- Intelligence +25
- Dexterity +25
- Random Class Skill +8
Once the power is chosen you will be given the text “The artifact has now been set to provide (your chosen as above)”
